Why You Need SiteMinder

CCTV systems capture the images and allow you to take remedial action - but what about preventing the incident in the first place? A SiteMinder system is connected through to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC); when the cameras are triggered the images are captured and sent to the ARC for trained operators to assess. Operators then connect to the premises and can monitor the situation, taking action as agreed in advance.

Site Specific & Extremely Flexible

Unlike other off the shelf products, the SiteMinder system uses existing tried-and-tested technology combined with our in-house developed alarm handling software.

With each SiteMinder system, we agree at the outset what actions we will take in a given circumstance. We then write it in our software so that when the cameras activate, the pre-arranged actions appear on screen advising our operators what to do - down to the wording of the announcement you may wish us to make (providing a tannoy system installed).

A 'real live operator'

A SiteMinder system is as much about preventing an incident as reacting to one: a pre-recorded announcement on site upon activation of a camera is too easy to ignore. With the SiteMinder system, our operators are dialled in to the premises and can tailor the announcement depending on what they see: "If the gentleman climbing the wall in the red jumper could please leave site immediately or the police will be called" can have a much more instant effect!
